In Dubai, the ESC IGC is recognised by Dubai Municipality and in Abu Dhabi by OHSAD. The ESC IG1 is scenario-based, also includes a closing interview and the learners will be asked questions related to their submission. We at Redhat Safety equip the learners with a model scenario and train them for the ESC IGC exams, ultimately enabling them to face the test without fear also enhancing their confidence to attend it.
Recently, ESC has introduced ESC OBE (open book exam), so the learners will write the exams from their convenient place. This online open book exam assesses your ability to apply what you have learned about health and safety management to a real-work environment. Because the exam is open-book, you’ll be able to use the internet, course materials and other sources as external aid.
The ESC exam portal will have your exam paper available on it. You'll have 24 hours to download the questions, refer to the learning materials, search for key answers, enter your responses and then re-upload the document to the site for submission. It should only take you about 3 hours to finish all of the questions.
Plagiarism and collusion are strictly prohibited by ESC. They have a number of measures in place to prevent and detect fraud. So, we strongly advise learners to avoid malpractice in the ESC OBE. We will guide our learners on how to avoid malpractice and also coach them on how to crack the ESC open book exam with ease in an ethical manner.

The ESC IG2 is a practical risk assessment that evaluates the entire course. It is meant to put your practical abilities to the test by having you do a risk assessment of your workplace. This will provide freshers with hands-on experience and thus in future, it will eventually give confidence to them when they are newly appointed as safety officers in performing an assigned task in their worksite from day one itself.
