These industry-leading certifications which are achieved by thousands of learners each year are designed to provide job aspirants with the required knowledge to properly carry out their health and safety obligations at work. The global level companies have high regard for the individuals who have completed this quality training because of the value they can provide to the industry.
NEW NEBOSH IGC SYLLABUS vs OLD NEBOSH IGC SYLLABUS
With the new Nebosh IGC pattern, NEBOSH has made the certification applicable to diverse work roles by including significant practical knowledge and skillsets required by managers who are responsible for health and safety, as well as making the senior level posts and qualifications career-oriented.
The old study pattern contained sophisticated technical content that was above the required industry level and also unnecessary in the current days’ scenario. The study language English has also been revised and made easier by eliminating complex terminologies used, wherever possible.
The new syllabus is simple and has made it more clear for the learners who now can readily implement their newly acquired knowledge and skills in the real-work environment. The restructured IGC study pattern can help the learners understand the important concepts very quickly and apply those in any type of work setting.
NOTE: The usage of NEBOSH command words in examinations has been stopped by NEBOSH.
HOW TO SWITCH FROM THE OLD SYLLABUS TO THE NEW SYLLABUS?
The learners who have completed part units on the old syllabus DO NOT have an opportunity to transfer or ask for a waiver on the new syllabus.
The credit points obtained under the old syllabus cannot be transferred to the new syllabus.
If a student wishes to discontinue the previous syllabus and apply under the new syllabus specifications, this will be considered as new student registration and both new papers (IG1 and IG2) must be completed.
