Introduction: Confined space rescues pose technical challenges due to the restrictive nature of the environment. Rescuers face obstacles such as narrow spaces, poor lighting, and the presence of hazardous materials in liquid or gas form, which can be life-threatening.
These hazards create a critical time frame for conducting rescues, often leading to rushed and ill-prepared attempts. Tragically, two-thirds of confined space fatalities result from rescue efforts.
